About Connected Recovery
A private 12-bed residential substance use treatment center in Van Nuys, California, Connected Recovery provides care for adults with substance use dependence and co-occurring mental health challenges. Operating from two neighboring 6-bed homes, the program creates a close-knit residential setting where clients receive medical detox, residential treatment, medication-assisted treatment, and aftercare planning without changing facilities. They aim to provide personalized care that supports clients from detox through residential treatment, helping them reagin stability, rebuild healthy routines, and prepare for long-term recovery.
Individualized Care Through Residential Treatment
Each client begins with a comprehensive assessment and treatment plans tailored to each resident’s needs. An expert care team works together to provide medical care, individual and group therapy, counseling, recovery education, and dual diagnosis treatment that changes throughout. each stage of recovery. By combining detox and residential treatment in one setting, the team follows each client’s progress closely, adjusts care as needed, and helps them develop practical skills for life beyond treatment.
Building Healthy Routines for Life After Treatment
Recovery at Connected Recovery is built around the consistency of everyday routines. Each day follows a structured schedule that includes therapies, life skills workshops, recovery counseling, recreational activities, and 12-Step meetings, helping clients build healthy habits one day a time. Mornings begin with mindfulness and meditation, setting a focused tone for the day, while shared meals and peer support foster connection throughout treatment. The 2 neighboring homes feature private and semi-private bedrooms, comfortable common areas, and outdoor spaces where clients can relax, connect with peers, and step away from demands of daily life. As clients progress through treatment, the care team strengthens relapse prevention skills and develops an individualized aftercare plan, that helps clients prepare for the transition back home.
