About Cenikor Foundation - Waco
Located in Waco, Texas, the center helps people recover from substance use disorders (SUD) through affordable, evidence-based care. The center treats drug and alcohol addiction with detoxification,
inpatient residential treatment, partial hospitalization,
medication-assisted treatment (MAT), recovery housing, and recovery support services/aftercare. Each person starts at the right level of care and receives guidance through every step of recovery.
Healing Through Therapy and Support
Cenikor uses proven therapies to help clients grow and heal. Licensed professionals lead group and individual therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and recovery coaching. Clients can also receive medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol use. The team, many of whom are in recovery, build strong connections to support each person’s journey.
Safe Living and Daily Routines
The 55-bed Waco facility offers a structured and supportive environment. Clients live in shared spaces with access to clean rooms, regular meals, and supervised care. Daily life includes therapy sessions, group activities, and healthy routines that support healing. Each person becomes part of a recovery-focused community designed for lasting change.
