Set in a residential Tampa Bay neighborhood, Braveminds Academy is a home-like environment for guys 11 to 17 to participate in residential mental health and co-occurring substance use treatment. Their therapy includes 1-on-1 counseling 3 to 5 times a week, group therapy, life skill development, academic support, tutoring, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and family therapy to provide structure and safety. The staff monitor clients 24/7 to make sure they are safe. They create a plan with clients to help them succeed after treatment.

Braveminds Academy serves guys with various mental health conditions. They consider their program particularly useful for teens who have tried outpatient programs, require psychiatric support, or have expressed a risk of self-harm or suicidality.
