Set in a residential Tampa Bay neighborhood, Braveminds Academy is a home-like environment for guys 11 to 17 to participate in residential mental health and co-occurring substance use treatment. Their therapy includes 1-on-1 counseling 3 to 5 times a week, group therapy, life skill development, academic support, tutoring, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and family therapy to provide structure and safety. The staff monitor clients 24/7 to make sure they are safe. They create a plan with clients to help them succeed after treatment.
