About Aura Recovery Center
Operating out of a fully renovated, southern-style home in Kentucky, Aura Recovery focuses on helping people safely navigate substance use disorders, including alcohol, opioids, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines, while simultaneously addressing dual diagnosis mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Their continuum maps out a path to long-term sobriety, taking clients safely through medical detox, residential stabilization, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) if needed.
Restore Vitality with True Southern Hospitality
Aura Recovery Center gets its name from a mission to restore hope, peace, and vitality to early recovery. Because many of the leaders and providers are in recovery themselves, they understand what clients are going through. And to make sure no one falls through the cracks, Aura limits the facility to 10 beds with a 1:1 ratio, pairing Southern hospitality with personalized, master-level clinical care.
Lower the Anxiety of Treatment with Familiar Comforts
Aura Recovery purposefully keeps things small with just a 10-bed capacity, allowing them to maintain a rare 1:1 staff-to-client ratio. The facility feels a lot like a comfortable home, featuring private or shared rooms with full-size beds, TVs in every bedroom, a theater viewing area, and a gym to help clear the mind. They even have a dedicated culinary team serving chef-prepared meals alongside a fully stocked cereal and juice bar.
Make Sure the Support System Doesn’t Stop
Leaving 24/7 inpatient care and heading back into normal everyday life can be an overwhelming transition. Because of that, Aura Recovery Center doesn't just discharge clients and wish them luck. Instead, the clinical team sets up a solid step-down plan through their intensive outpatient placement process. While Aura doesn't run an in-house IOP, they partner with a vetted network of local Kentucky providers to match each person with the right program.
