About Arms Acres
Situated on a 54-acre campus in Putnam County, Arms Acres provides detox and residential addiction treatment for adults, including veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and justice-involved individuals. The center is a 191-bed facility that treats substance use disorders (SUD) involving drugs and alcohol, along with co-occurring conditions such as trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and anger dysregulation. Programs include men’s, women’s, and co-ed inpatient tracks. The detoxification program supports patients experiencing withdrawal symptoms.
Where Healing Begins
Residents engage in individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as 12-Step facilitation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). Additional services include equine therapy, expressive art therapy, and a structured fitness and recreation program. Recovery is further supported through workforce development, nutrition education, relapse prevention, and stress and anger management. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is also available.
