About AMFM Mental Health Treatment
AMFM Mental Health Treatment believes in going beyond traditional mental health care, providing a more personal, deeply compassionate healing experience. That philosophy shapes care at their 8-bed women’s residential program in Stillwater, where clients receive 24/7 support for depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, personality disorders, self-harm, and other mental health conditions. Treatment plans combine individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, case management, and specialized groups, with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) also available as a treatment option.
Building Skills for Everyday Stability
AMFM helps clients manage symptoms, process trauma, and rebuild daily structure through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), psychodynamic therapy, and other approaches. Clients typically attend 3 or more clinical groups daily alongside individual therapy, psychiatry, and case management. Yoga, creative writing, narrative therapy, life skills, Food as Medicine groups, and an in-house gym add creative, practical, and mind-body activities to their weekly routines.
Finding Connection Beyond the Home
Up to 8 women stay in double-occupancy and limited single-occupancy rooms in a secluded home with a large backyard. Personal chefs prepare nutritious meals with dietary accommodations, and residents enjoy a weekly group meal outing on Saturday or Sunday. Experiential outings also take clients beyond the residence to explore Stillwater, including downtown riverfront walks, Stillwater River Boat tours, and visits to William O’Brien State Park, giving women opportunities for fresh air, recreation, and a change of scenery.
