Acadiana Treatment Center treats adolescents ages 12-17 who are struggling with disturbances in their family relationships, peer interactions, and school performance. Acadiana Treatment Center was founded in 2004 and established itself as a peaceful environment for clients. Acadiana Treatment Center assesses each client’s developmental and emotional needs through an assessment process that includes physical, educational, psychological, psychiatric, and psychosocial evaluations. Acadiana Treatment Center is gender and age-specific. Acadiana Treatment Center treats anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, delusional disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and conduct disorder. Clients need to have a full scale IQ of 70 or higher or substantial evidence that the symptoms of a mental health disorder have suppressed their IQ. Acadiana Treatment Center uses evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group and individual sessions, stages of change and motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). The staff may also integrate the 12-Step recovery model if needed. Acadiana Treatment Center is accredited by CARF and is an active participant in The Jason Foundation, which is committed to developing nationwide awareness and preventing youth suicide. Acadiana Treatment Center accepts most major insurances, and they encourage clients to call for free insurance verification.
