About Release Recovery Westchester Men's Treatment Program
Recovery is about more than just putting down substances—it’s about building a life worth protecting. At Release Recovery’s men’s transitional housing in Westchester, they help men heal from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. Here, treatment is not a single step but a continuum, offering the structure of sober living, the guidance of outpatient care, and the individualized attention of case management, family coaching, and peer support.
Experience Steady Support in a Safe Place
The upscale transitional housing for men has awake overnight staff, case managers, and medication management if necessary, so clients get safety, comfort, and structure in their experience. In their outpatient programs, they use a form of therapy that helps people understand how things that happened early in life still shape how they feel and react today. One moment, clients may be doing a breathing or movement exercise to calm the nervous system, the next they meet with a one-on-one therapist to talk through patterns that keep showing up, and later they practice life skills in small groups where others cheer them on.
Balance Evening IOP & Commitments
Release Recovery's Evening Intensive Outpatient Program was created for those who want to focus on their healing without stepping away from their busy lives. Designed with working professionals and individuals balancing full schedules in mind, this trauma-informed program offers 12 hours of supportive evening sessions each week, along with therapy and access to medical care when needed. Clients are guided through their recovery journey while still being able to show up for their families, careers, and themselves.

This renovated 9-bedroom country estate in Westchester has an indoor heated pool and sauna for unwinding, plus ping-pong and billiards for a little friendly competition. The landscaped grounds are perfect for quiet moments or connecting with others, and the home offers a dedicated spot to focus on school, work, or personal goals. Surrounded by scenic hiking trails, it’s easy to spend time outdoors and recharge. And with the Metro-North close by, Manhattan is just a train ride away.

Treatment Services
Day Treatment
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Intensive Outpatient Program
In an IOP, patients live at home or a sober living, but attend treatment typically 9-15 hours a week. Most programs include talk therapy, support groups, and other methods.
Private Therapy
This is an individual therapy that's often available at private therapy clinics. Clients may be able to choose a therapist who best fits their unique needs.
Outpatient
During outpatient rehab, patients attend a structured treatment program while continuing to live at home.
Transitional Living
After rehab, some people stay in a transitional living situation before returning home. These programs offer structure, education, and community support.
Sober Living
These structured living environments help people transition out of rehab. Residents have more freedom than they do during rehab, but still follow certain rules.
