Safety, Stability, and Specialized Support
At New Directions, Livonia Campus, teens follow structured daily routines that combine education, counseling, recreation, and practical skill development. They receive year-round tutoring, independent living skills training, social skills development, and pre-vocational opportunities that prepare them for adulthood. Teens can also stay active through Special Olympics sports, basketball and volleyball courts, walking and running trails, mentoring, art therapy, yoga-based activities, and community service opportunities that build confidence, responsibility, and healthy relationships.
Trauma-Informed Care for Long-Term Growth
A multidisciplinary team provides individual and group counseling, on-site therapy, psychiatric and psychological services, medical and dental care, and family therapy when appropriate.
