About The Juniper Center - North Shore
Creating an inclusive space that recognizes and respects diverse identities and experiences guides the work at The Juniper Center. Founded by Dr. Margo Jacquot in 1996, this mental health practice serves children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. They provide counseling and psychotherapy, psychiatry and medication management, therapeutic movement therapy, psychological testing, and teletherapy.
Find Specialized Trauma Recovery Services
Their programs address anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, LGBTQ+ needs, eating disorders, OCD, ADHD/ADD, and other mental health concerns through individual, couples, family, partner, and relationship counseling, as well as group therapy. Trauma recovery services include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), body-centered therapies, mindfulness meditation, and yoga therapy.
Access Gender-Affirming and Youth Services
Specialized programs address specific life stages and needs. The Juniper Center for Gender and Sexuality provides gender-affirming letters, relationship coaching, therapy, groups, and support for transgender and gender-nonconforming people, including those with autism. Juniper Junior serves children and teens through high school age with play, art, video game, trauma, and relational therapy.
