About The Crossroads Program St. Louis
Bringing an age-specific enthusiastic approach to recovery, The Crossroads Program in St. Louis serves teens and young adults ages 13–25 through day treatment (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), individual counseling, and aftercare. Their care addresses alcohol and drug addiction alongside relapse risk, emotional health, peer pressure, school demands, and family strain.
Tailor Recovery Around Development
Shaping care around adolescent and young adult needs, counselors at The Crossroads Program lead individual, group, and family sessions that explain addiction, identify behavioral patterns, and address social pressure. Clients create coping and relapse prevention plans, join staffed 12-Step groups for accountability, and involve parents through counseling that improves communication, boundaries, and practical support at home.
Extend Care Through Milestones
Recovery continues beyond intensive treatment through sober Friday and Saturday activities, including movie nights and game nights, that helps clients build connections and practice sober routines. An 8-week aftercare phase adds continued structure after treatment, while long-term support can continue up to 2½ years through staffed meetings, counselor access, graduations, and sobriety milestones. Treatment length and discharge decisions are based on client progress and readiness for the next step, and not finances.
