About SunCoast Psychiatry
Supporting mental health and addiction treatment, Suncoast Psychiatry is an outpatient psychiatric practice serving adolescents ages 12-17 and adults. They treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and opioid addiction through psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and medically supervised Suboxone treatment. Located along North Dale Mabry Highway in Lutz, they offer in-person appointments and virtual care throughout Florida, with services available in English and Spanish.
They are open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., supporting access to ongoing care.
Individualized Treatment and Medication Support
Their treatment approach combines detailed assessments, behavioral strategies, and medication monitoring tailored to individual needs. For ADHD, they offer lifestyle guidance and stimulant or non-stimulant medications when appropriate to improve focus and daily functioning. Their Suboxone program helps reduce opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms. They also evaluate conditions such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and schizophrenia. Regular follow-ups help track treatment progress, manage side effects, and adjust medications as needed.
Decades of Dedicated Psychiatric Care
Founded in 2001 by board-certified psychiatrist Dr. Arlene M. Martinez-Delio, the practice draws on experience in internal medicine, neurology, and Veterans Affairs hospitals. Their bilingual team emphasizes clear communication, careful listening, and education about mental health conditions and treatment options. As part of Beacon Behavioral Partners, they benefit from a growing network of independent psychiatric practices, gaining operational and clinical support to expand access to bilingual mental health care while maintaining their individualized treatment approach.

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
