About Riley Recovery Centers - Solara House
Located along Harrison Street, Riley Recovery Centers - Solara House runs a DHCS-licensed outpatient program in Oakland for men and women ages 18 and older. The center treats substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional dysregulation. Clients attend day treatment (PHP) or intensive outpatient (IOP) care without staying overnight.
Treatment and Program Structure
The clinical team creates an individual treatment plan based on each client’s needs, goals, and required level of care. Treatment uses trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches that may include trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), solution-focused brief therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and internal family systems (IFS) informed care. Clients also receive mental health and recovery education, relapse-prevention planning, and long-term recovery planning. IOP treatment generally lasts about 30-90 days, depending on clinical needs.
Daily Access and Payment
Clients live at home while attending scheduled treatment, allowing them to continue work, school, family duties, and other daily routines. Solara House may also serve adults who are starting treatment or continuing care after detox or inpatient treatment. The center works with many insurance plans, including Medi-Cal, Blue Shield of California, and Aetna. Admissions staff verify benefits and explain payment options before treatment begins.
