About Recovery Works Martinsville
Recovery Works Martinsville is a women-only rehab center located inside the Indiana University Health Morgan Medical Center. It helps women facing drug or alcohol addiction, especially those needing a higher level of care. The center offers residential treatment, medical detox, and support for people with both addiction and mental health conditions, all in a safe, caring environment.
Learn to Rewire the Mind
Recovery Works’ approach blends medical and emotional healing. Therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) teach patients how to recognize and change negative thought patterns, while dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) helps manage strong emotions and improve relationships. Additionally, Recovery Works’ motivational interviewing (MI) supports women in finding their own reasons to change. The center also uses trauma-informed care and life skills classes to encourage emotional healing and teach real-world skills for life beyond treatment.
Build a Life Beyond the Walls
Clients can attend 12-Step meetings and SMART Recovery groups right at the facility. Weekly alumni support meetings and an active aftercare program help women stay connected after they leave.

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
