Treatment Methods

Pyramid Easton Outpatient Treatment Center offers individual therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help combat negative thought patterns and establish healthier ones. Clients engage in specialized group therapy, learning coping and relapse-prevention strategies, sharing their experience with others and learning from others in similar circumstances. Specialized groups are available for adolescent clients. Clients and their loved ones participate in family or couples counseling with the aim of increasing understanding and communication, with family support groups also available. Pyramid Easton also offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults to help reduce substance cravings, especially for opiates and alcohol.
