About Resilient Health Phoenix - 1st Street
Building resilience is central to care at Resilient Health, where youth and adults receive counseling, psychiatric services, and specialized support for psychosis, serious mental illness, autism spectrum disorder, and traumatic brain injury. They have operated since 1971 and offer both in-person and telehealth services. At the 1st Street location, dedicated psychosis services include a First Episode Psychosis program for eligible individuals ages 15-30 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
Psychosis and Psychiatric Care
Resilient Health combines group counseling, individual sessions, family involvement, psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication monitoring. Counseling addresses behavioral health, mental health, and substance use challenges through a trauma-responsive approach, while they provide expressive arts and art therapy through trauma-informed practices. Individuals experiencing psychosis may also access vocational and educational support, family services, and relapse prevention services through the First Episode Psychosis program.
Counseling and Transition Services
Counseling services primarily consist of group counseling, with individual and family sessions available as needed. Youth who enroll in autism spectrum services participate in activities focused on social and life skills, while teens and young adults who participate in transition services work on emotional regulation, relationships, healthy behaviors, and personal goals. Eligible individuals ages 15-30 who participate in the First Episode Psychosis program receive early intervention, relapse prevention, and educational or vocational support alongside counseling and psychiatric services.
