About Northeast Health Services - Harvard Square
Northeast Health Services in Cambridge, MA brings therapy and psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults in the Middlesex County community. The outpatient clinic offers therapy, psychiatry, medication management, and telehealth for concerns ranging from anxiety, depression, and ADHD to trauma, eating disorders, substance use disorder (SUD), and more complex conditions like bipolar and psychotic disorders. Clients can access counseling and psychiatric support within the same practice, making it easier to coordinate different parts of their mental health care.
An Individualized Approach to Therapy
Their clinicians take an individualized, collaborative approach, getting to know each client’s experiences, needs, and goals before shaping care. Treatment may draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, trauma-focused care, and mindfulness practices. Clinicians may also use expressive arts to explore experiences creatively and family systems approaches to understand how relationships affect well-being. Individual, couples, family, and group therapy can help clients manage symptoms and navigate challenges in daily life and relationships. The office is open Monday–Friday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with early morning, evening, and weekend appointments also available.
