Next Step Recovery Center
About Next Step Recovery Center
Helping adults build greater stability in recovery, Next Step Recovery Center provides outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) for substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. The Columbus center combines treatment with case management, peer recovery support, mental health services, and transitional housing, giving clients access to additional support based on their needs. Care begins with a phone intake and an assessment to understand each person’s challenges and develop an individualized treatment plan.
Building Skills Through Personalized Care
Next Step Recovery Center uses evidence-based treatment tailored to each client’s needs and progress. Individual therapy gives clients private time to work through challenges with a treatment professional, while group therapy allows them to share experiences, learn from others, and practice healthier communication. Licensed professional clinicians work alongside case managers and peer recovery support specialists, including team members who bring personal recovery experience to their work.
Extending Support Beyond Counseling
Support extends beyond therapy through case management, peer recovery services, patient education, and transitional housing. Case managers help clients navigate needs and connect with resources, while peer recovery support specialists provide additional guidance throughout recovery. For clients who need more stability while attending outpatient treatment, transitional housing offers a recovery-focused living option. The center also emphasizes continued recovery support, helping clients stay connected to resources as they move forward after treatment.
