Located northeast of Robert E. Williams Memorial Park, New Directions Mental Health provides outpatient therapy, psychiatry, medication management, Spravato® treatment, and telehealth for children, teens, and adults. They treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anger, anorexia, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, sleep disorders, stress, and trauma.
Therapy, Psychiatry, and Spravato
Treatment includes counseling, psychiatric care, and medication management. Bloomfield also offers Spravato®, an interventional depression treatment. Individual clinicians describe cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based techniques, family systems work, somatic approaches, internal family systems (IFS)-informed care, and trauma-informed treatment.

They are located at 4727 Friendship Avenue, Suite 180, one block from West Penn Hospital and near UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Hours run Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; early morning, evening, and weekend appointments may be available. Most major insurance plans are accepted across the network, including Medicare and Medicaid, but coverage varies by clinic.
