Merakey Gallia Street

Improving stability for adults with serious mental illness and developmental disabilities, Merakey Gallia Street is a community-based center offering adult behavioral health services, intellectual and developmental disabilities services, and a dual diagnosis treatment team (DDTT). They coordinate psychiatric, developmental, physical health, housing, and daily-living support to help people build greater stability and independence.

Merakey began in Philadelphia in 1969 as The Northwest Center, later became NHS Human Services, and has grown into a multi-state provider serving 12 states across behavioral health, autism, addiction recovery, intellectual and developmental disability, education, foster care, aging, and veteran services.
