About Making it Possible - San Antonio
Built around personalized brain therapy, Making It Possible - San Antonio combines quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG) brain mapping with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), magnetic e-resonance therapy (MeRT), and magnetic peripheral nerve stimulation (mPNS) therapies to treat mental health, neurological, and chronic pain conditions. The care team creates individualized treatment plans for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), concussion, autism, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, and other chronic pain conditions using non-invasive, drug-free magnetic stimulation. They serve adults with mental health and neurological conditions, and provides condition-specific care for children with autism and supports military members, veterans, and civilians seeking treatment for TBI and PTSD.
Personalized Treatment Process
Clients begin with a free consultation and physician evaluation to review their symptoms, diagnosis, medical history, and previous treatments before receiving a personalized treatment plan. TMS treatment for depression typically consists of 20- to 40-minute sessions over 4 to 8 weeks. MeRT starts with qEEG brain mapping, electroencephalogram (EEG) and electrocardiogram (EKG) testing, followed by 45-minute appointments that include about 30 minutes of magnetic stimulation, typically 5 days a week for 4 to 6 weeks.
Ongoing Care and Client Support
The clinical team monitors progress throughout treatment and adjusts protocol based on each client’s response. Client’s receiving MeRT for autism may also participate in adaptive coping strategies, mindfulness-based techniques, supplemental cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and guidance for clients and parents. Making It Possible also verifies insurance benefits for qualifying TMS treatment, provides superbills when appropriate, and offers CareCredit financing. Locations are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with weekend appointments available by request.
