Built to address both substance use treatment needs and court-related requirements, Horizon Healthcare is a state-certified outpatient behavioral health practice in Milwaukee serves people navigating the justice system alongside those seeking care independently. The center combines specialized legal assessments and corrections programming with mental health services for children as young as four, teens, and adults. Their work connects clinical treatment with the practical demands of court involvement.

Address Addiction and Mental Health Together

Clients can work through a full range of AODA services,including abstinence-based opioid care and dual diagnosis services for co-occurring conditions. Clients involved in the legal system can access court-ordered assessments, drunk driving (DWI) and corrections programming, and drug and alcohol screening. Individual, couples, and family counseling addresses anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship concerns, with medication management, psychological testing, and Spanish-language services also available.

Connect to Care From Home

Through its affiliate American TelePsychiatry, the center connects clients with physicians and psychiatric providers for video appointments from home. Clients who need a higher level of care can also access residential treatment through Horizon's sister organization, Matt Talbot Recovery Center, who separately provides residential addiction treatment for adult men. Horizon also offers case management, targeted case management, and employee assistance services to help clients coordinate care and address practical or workplace-related needs
