Since 2014, Groups Recover Together provides outpatient care and support at multiple locations across the country. This Newport News location is one of the 10 centers in Virginia, offering medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction. Their program offers virtual and in-person support, making recovery accessible and built on connection, accountability, and shared milestones guided by peers and trained counselors. The center is open Monday through Friday, with remote operations on Thursdays, and closed on weekends.
Recovery Starts with Medication Therapy and Support
The facility provides FDA-approved suboxone to manage withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings, complemented by weekly group therapy sessions that explore treatment topics like anger management.
