About Groups Recover Together Hazard
Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Appalachian Mountains, this outpatient center offers compassionate, in-person care 4 days a week. As part of Groups Recover Together’s 16-center network across Kentucky, it provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to support long-term recovery from opioid addiction—meeting individuals wherever they are in their journey.
Recovery Starts with Medication Therapy and Support
The facility provides FDA-approved suboxone to manage withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings, complemented by weekly group therapy sessions that explore treatment topics like anger management. Patients receive personalized and trauma-informed care from a supportive team including substance use counselors, recovery support specialists, and clinicians. Intake is quick and often virtual, connecting individuals to medical assessments, medication, and peer support to build lasting recovery and regain life goals.
