Frontier Health Johnson County Counseling Center provides outpatient care for children, adolescents and adults with mental health conditions, drug addiction, trauma, justice-involved cases. It is part of Frontier Health, an organization that was founded in 1957 and continuously serves its clients in Northern Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
Person-Centered Care at Home
This outcome-driven clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive, person-centered and care-focused treatment programs that aim for lasting recovery. It uses evidence-based and trauma-informed practices to treat patients while working together with families and the community through intensive in-home services for continuous treatment. A nurse practitioner provides dedicated case management, evaluating mental status, prescribing and monitoring medications, and performing referrals as needed.
Accessible Mental Health Support for Students
This clinic offers on-site therapeutic services to Johnson County school students. The center plays a vital link in connecting their clients to an outpatient clinical care while in close collaboration with counselors, teachers, and school administration to support student well-being supports its school-based services.
