About Foundations for Wellness
Built around dual-diagnosis care, Foundations for Wellness serves children, teens, and adults with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), alcohol use disorder, and opioid use disorder. They combine psychotherapy with psychiatric medication care, offer ADHD testing for ages 8+, and serve clients ages 6 to 25 through their child and adolescent medication-management team.
Tailor Treatment Through Insight
Foundations for Wellness’ approach considers how a client’s social setting, cultural background, daily environment, relationships, stressors, and substance use patterns can affect symptoms, treatment needs, and recovery. They use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and PTSD, while motivational interviewing (MI) supports SUD treatment. Meanwhile, GeneSight testing helps inform psychiatric medication decisions, and medication for opioid use disorder includes buprenorphine, naltrexone, sublocade, and vivitrol with counseling and behavioral therapies.

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
