About Fort Help
Operates as part of El Dorado Community Service Center, a network of community clinics under American Health Services serving San Francisco County. Fort Help, LLC treats drug addiction and alcohol use disorders through outpatient programs, alongside integrated primary care services across several counties in California.
Counseling and Medication Treatment
They deliver evidence-based 1-on-1 and group counseling as the foundation of addiction care. They provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) using Buprenorphine/Suboxone, Disulfiram, and Naloxone (Narcan) to support outpatient recovery. Treatment combines clinical oversight with structured counseling services designed to address both the medical and behavioral sides of substance use.

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT

Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
