About Emotizone
Near West Elliot Road in Gilbert, Arizona, EmotiCare’s EmotiZone is an outpatient mental health clubhouse where teens ages 12-17 receive therapy and support while continuing to live at home and stay connected to school and family. The program treats depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm behaviors, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and conduct disorders. EmotiZone blends therapy with life-skills development and community connection in a welcoming space that encourages growth, helping youth build resilience through structured therapeutic programming while maintaining their daily routines.
Transform Emotions into Strength
In addition, EmotiZone follows EmotiCare’s whole-person approach that blends evidence-based therapy with strength-focused practices. Designed as a “gym for the brain,” the program encourages teens to actively develop emotional resilience and mental wellness skills in a supportive community setting. Programs incorporate dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and trauma-focused therapy to help teens manage emotions, process difficult experiences, and build healthier coping skills. At the same time, participants engage in individualized therapy, community activities, and real-world learning that strengthen independence, confidence, and emotional regulation while encouraging positive connection with peers and families.
Grow Through Shared Experience
Beyond therapy sessions, EmotiZone creates a vibrant environment where teens practice skills that extend into everyday life. Creative recreation, collaborative activities, and mentorship encourage growth while reinforcing emotional awareness and resilience. As part of the broader EmotiCare network, youth may also transition into additional services such as residential care through EmotiHome or community-based guidance through EmotiConnect, helping families continue their journey toward stability, confidence, and lasting well-being.
