About Elevate Health and Wellness
This outpatient center provides mental health and substance use disorder treatment for teens and adults in a coastal Connecticut town. A licensed clinical team delivers therapy, psychiatric care, and medication support in a structured yet flexible setting. Clients receive care for concerns such as anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and substance use. The program blends counseling and medical services under one roof, allowing individuals to access coordinated care while continuing school, work, and family life.
Guiding Teens and Adults Through Recovery
The center offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adolescents and adults who need more support than weekly therapy. Clients attend several sessions each week that include group therapy, individual counseling, and medication management when needed. They also provide outpatient detox and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help manage withdrawal and reduce cravings safely. Clinicians use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and EMDR to help clients build coping skills, manage emotions, and address trauma that may affect recovery.
Recovery Maintenance and Relapse Prevention
After IOP, clients can step down to regular outpatient therapy and weekly support groups focused on relapse prevention and ongoing recovery. Telehealth services make care accessible for those who cannot attend in person. The center operates Monday through Friday with scheduled appointment hours and works with many major insurance plans. Through individual, family, and group therapy, the program encourages steady growth, accountability, and long-term wellness while helping each person build practical tools for lasting change.
Center Overview

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
