About Children's Advantage Family Center and Psychiatry Services
Bringing therapy, psychiatry, and substance use services under one roof, Children’s Advantage in Ravenna, part of Axess Family Services, provides outpatient mental health and substance use treatment for children and adolescents. Services include individual, group, and family counseling, along with psychiatric services, case management, and court-ordered programs. Telehealth is also available for some services, offering flexible access to care from home.
Partner with Providers for a Range of Support
Sessions often includes both the child and caregiver, creating space to address challenges at home, school, and in relationships while building practical strategies that can be used outside of appointments. Case management helps families stay organized with care plans and next steps between visits. For adolescents with substance use concerns, Children’s Advantage incorporates The Seven Challenges model to support self-reflection, motivation, and more informed decision-making over time.Children’s Advantage in Ravenna allows families to continue care within the same network if needs change, supporting smoother transitions and ongoing continuity of care.
