About Centerstone Salem - N. Grand
Located three blocks northwest of the historic Dent County Courthouse square, Centerstone Salem supports children, teens, and adults with mental health and addiction concerns, including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Clients can access individual, group, and family counseling, along with peer support and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
Finding the Right Path to Recovery
Addiction treatment at Centerstone ranges from outpatient counseling and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) to residential care for drug and alcohol use. Clients may receive medically monitored withdrawal management, medication, and individual or group therapy. Support groups, including alcoholics anonymous (AA) and narcotics anonymous (NA), help participants build coping skills and recognize relapse triggers.
Building Stability Beyond Treatment
Centerstone’s independent and supportive housing serves adults with mental illness, substance use disorders (SUD), and intellectual or developmental disabilities. Residents may receive case management, medication management, peer support, and life-skills training. Some homes have 24-hour staffing for people with more complex needs, while the community psychiatric rehabilitation program helps clients strengthen daily living skills and independence in their own homes.
