About Centerstone - Boonville
Serving Cooper and Howard counties, Centerstone Boonville - Ryan St. brings adult and youth psychiatry together with outpatient counseling, community support, and school-based services. Clinicians treat depression and anxiety, along with schizophrenia, ADHD, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Children and Family services also address autism and intellectual disabilities, with programming beginning at age 3. Clients can access assessments through walk-ins or scheduled appointments.
Counseling and Medication Management
Clinicians work with clients to develop treatment plans and provide individual counseling to explore challenges and identify ways to address them. Family counseling brings relatives into this work, while psychiatric providers evaluate and manage medications. Children and families can attend in-person or virtual visits or receive in-home counseling. Case managers coordinate services, and the Children and Family team provides crisis intervention, education, and support.
School and Juvenile Justice Services
School-based therapists address emotional, behavioral, and social difficulties, including stress and trauma. They collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators on behavioral interventions and assess suicide or homicide risk when needed. The Mental Health Juvenile Justice program connects youth under 18 who face court involvement or risk of involvement with mental health and social services. Its clinician coordinates with courts, probation, schools, and families, monitors treatment plans, and links families to community resources.
