About Cenikor Foundation - Decatur
Cenikor Foundation’s Decatur center treat adults with substance use disorders (SUD). They offer intensive outpatient programming (IOP) and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) at this location. The non-profit designs custom care plans based on evidence-based methods to support whole person recovery through affordable, integrated levels of care.
Personalized Counseling & Medication Support
The center offers therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), anger management counseling, motivational incentives, and group psychoeducation. They also offer medication‑assisted treatment (MAT) using medications like buprenorphine and naltrexone when appropriate. Clients participate in individual and group counseling, relapse prevention, twelve‑step integration, and trauma‑informed programming to support long‑term recovery.
Move Forward in Recovery with Confidence
All clients of Cenikor can participate in their recovery support services (RSS) after discharge. A step above traditional recovery coaching, RSS ensures clients maintain connection and continue to receive the encouragement and support they need to move forward in recovery. Through RSS, clients have long-term support, through the ups and downs of recovery and stressors of life. Clients can also receive assistance with recovery housing, help with accessing community resources, and access alumni meetings and events.
