Guided by a mission rooted in compassion and resilience, Brave Path Recovery is a dual diagnosis outpatient treatment center treating mental health conditions and substance use disorders (SUD) through their full or part-time day treatment programs. Programs address substance use disorders alongside co-occurring anxiety and depression disorders.

Strengthen Mind And Resilience

The center is built on the belief that healing involves caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Founded from lived experience, loss, and resilience, the mission reflects Executive Director Damien Trites’ recovery journey as a retired MMA fighter in recovery. Inspired by profound personal loss, he built Brave Path to create a structured, accountable environment where individuals can address substance use and mental health challenges together.

Channel Strength Into Recovery

Participants engage in structured experiential activities that reinforce accountability and healthy behavior change. Adventure therapy, equine-assisted therapy, gardening, and sober travel excursions provide hands-on opportunities to practice coping skills outside the therapy room. Jiu jitsu and boxing encourage discipline and focus, while meditation and yoga strengthen emotional awareness and self-regulation. These activities are integrated into the weekly schedule to help individuals build routine and apply recovery skills in practical, real-world settings.

Support Recovery With Safe Housing

Sober housing options are available through trusted local partners for individuals who need added structure outside of treatment hours. These substance-free residences provide accountability, routine, and peer support while participants continue structured day programming.
