NOLA Detox and Recovery Center offers detox, residential, and outpatient care for substance use disorders (SUD) with evidence-based treatment, southern hospitality, and New Orleans flair. Everyone’s path to recovery is different, and NOLA is equipped to help patients find and commit to theirs. Every treatment plan is personalized to support long-term recovery and reduce relapse risk by addressing both physical dependence and the emotional drivers behind substance misuse.

Make Progress in 4 Phases

Inpatient treatment begins with stabilization, safely managing withdrawal symptoms with around-the-clock nursing care. As patients start to feel better, they move into the preparation phase to learn about the biology of addiction and begin building the tools needed for long-term recovery. The action phase focuses on applying those tools in daily life and supporting others in earlier phases. The final phase, vision, includes a community graduation ceremony and a personalized plan to support the transition forward.

Breathe in Relief on an 8-Acre Campus

NOLA Detox combines a tranquil setting with the comforts of a nice hotel. Shared rooms have queen beds, cable TV, WiFi, and a private bathroom. Community phones are available to keep up with family, friends, and work as needed. Patients enjoy 3 delicious meals daily, and warm chocolate chip cookies with milk every night. Activities include a weekly campfire, live music, volleyball, yoga, arts and crafts, gaming devices, and tabletop games.

Leave with a Hopeful Outlook and Plan

Before patients leave, they receive post-treatment plans with programs and services customized to their needs, including options for step-down care in NOLA Detox’s outpatient programs. Technology helps with the transition, including care coordination apps, wearable devices, and digital therapeutics. NOLA Detox’s recovery residences provide a structured, substance-free environment where patients can continue their recovery while preparing for full reintegration into everyday life.

NOLA Detox provides treatment for New Orleans by New Orleanians. Whether through comfort foods from local legendary restaurants, crawfish boils, or outdoor picnics, patients learn to participate fully in health and happiness.
Stabilize, Repair, and Transform with MAT
Stabilize, Repair, and Transform with MAT
By using medication-assisted treatment, NOLA Detox is able to keep patients more comfortable and help them meet their long-term recovery goals. They use pharmaceuticals and non-pharmaceuticals to help stabilize and put the brain into repair and transformation mode, guiding each patient to wellness, not just sobriety.
Reclaim the Future After Military Trauma
Reclaim the Future After Military Trauma
While the military instills strength, discipline, and resilience, it can also leave invisible scars that lead veterans to turn to substances as a coping strategy. NOLA Detox offers veterans a specialized program that addresses the trauma, chronic pain, and mental health conditions unique to combat exposure, service-related injuries, and reintegration into civilian life.
Ensure Comfort and Safety During Detox
Ensure Comfort and Safety During Detox
Detox begins with an individualized assessment that shapes care around each patient’s unique health, substance use history, and co-occurring conditions. NOLA Detox’s physicians, nurses, and counselors provide 24/7 supervision, while medications like Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol help ease withdrawal, reduce discomfort, and support a safer transition into treatment.
