About The Neurodivergent Collective
Set in Newport Beach, The Neurodivergent Collective treats adults 18+ with ADHD or autism who are experiencing conditions like major depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). They use a neurodivergent-affirming approach that acknowledges clients' perception of the world.
The Neurodivergent Collective employs an experienced care team of licensed psychologists, social workers, therapists (including specialized talk, art, and music therapists), nutritionists, and executive functioning coaches.
Several members of the staff are neurodivergent, and they use their lived experiences to ensure they deliver the best care to clients.
Their residential and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs uses time-tested therapies like acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process trauma, strengthen self-understanding, and develop life skills.
In addition to talk therapy, clients can express themselves through art and music therapy. The Neurodivergent Collective employs dedicated therapists with training in these means of expression.
