Tewa Roots Society is a nonprofit behavioral health and clinical service provider based in Nambé Pueblo, New Mexico. Established in 2018, they are dedicated to addressing the mental health and substance use challenges prevalent in Indigenous communities. Through a person-centered approach, Tewa Roots Society integrates comprehensive clinical wraparound services and community-focused group programs tailored to the unique needs of each group. Experience Culturally-Informed Care
Tewa Roots Society offers a range of services, including adventure therapy, art therapy, talk therapy, substance use counseling, and clinical case management. The organization also provides referrals and financial assistance for clients in need of residential treatment for substance use disorders. Priority of services is given first to Nambé Pueblo Tribal members, second to Indigenous community members, and lastly to all residents of New Mexico.
