About Mount Sinai Wellness Center
Mount Sinai Wellness is a dual diagnosis treatment center that helps people heal from substance use and mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Care focuses on the whole person, helping each individual build a balanced and meaningful life in recovery, not just stop using substances. Located on a private, wooded campus in the North Georgia mountains, the setting offers a calm and peaceful environment where individuals can step away from daily stress and focus fully on healing.
Support That Meets You Where You Are
The program is structured, supportive, and tailored to each person. From the start, clients work with a consistent care team that helps guide their progress and adjust treatment as needed. Through daily participation, clients learn practical skills to manage stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships.
Rediscovering Joy in Everyday Life
A key part of treatment is the Enjoy Life Again program. This program helps clients rebuild confidence and find joy in everyday life. Through guided activities and shared experiences, individuals safely face situations that may have once felt difficult and begin to feel more comfortable and capable.
Building Momentum for Lasting Change
Clients take part in about 38 hours of programming each week, along with peer-led groups and evening and weekend activities. A step-down approach to care allows clients to continue their progress without starting over. Moint Sinai encourages involvement when appropriate.
A Community of Understanding for Veterans
Mount Sinai is developing a program for veterans that offers trauma-informed care and peer support led by individuals with military experience. This creates a space where veterans can feel understood and supported.
Center Overview
Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
