Offering housing with outpatient treatment in Towson, Maryland Addiction Recovery Center (MARC) helps clients build momentum in recovery and re-integrate into community living. Their designated housing for those attending their outpatient program allows clients to have a safe and therapeutic environment throughout treatment while being able to implement life skills learned right away in a real-world setting.

Receive Full Support Throughout Recovery

All treatment at MARC is highly individualized and caters to the specific needs of the client. They offer services in the morning and evening and have separate intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for individuals with a primary substance use disorder or primary mental health condition. Outpatient services include individual therapy, group counseling, medication management, family therapy, and psychiatry. MARC’s admission staff will help determine the right level of care for individuals, matching them with the necessary amount of structure and time in treatment for long-term success in recovery. MARC combines evidence-based and creative therapies to help clients build coping skills, process underlying challenges, and create a strong foundation for lasting recovery. They walk with individuals from inpatient to outpatient care and even through relapse, providing continuous support at every stage of the recovery journey.

Transition to Independence with Confidence

At their Community Living campus apartment complex, MARC provides comfortable, structured housing designed to support clients as they transition to greater independence. Their housing features modern décor, welcoming shared living spaces, and semi-private rooms with double occupancy. Clients are encouraged to build healthy routines and gradually increase responsibilities through daily tasks and basic household chores. MARC also fosters community and wellness through frequent 12-Step meetings, access to an on-site gym, and weekly yoga classes. MARC also offers gender-specific sober living homes for men and women, providing substance-free environments where clients can strengthen life skills and build confidence in long-term recovery.

Build Lasting Support Systems

Placing a strong emphasis on family involvement to support recovery, MARC’s Family Recovery Program actively involves loved ones in treatment and treats the family unit as a whole. Family members can participate in weekly therapy, group therapy sessions, psychoeducation, multifamily support groups, and a 2.5-day on-campus intensive, designed to strengthen relationships and support healing. Beyond formal treatment, MARC’s alumni program uses a community integration model that provides long-term support through sober living, vocational guidance, life skills development, alumni events, and continued access to mental health services. MARC aims to help clients deeply root themselves in a lasting, supportive network to help them thrive in recovery.
