About Makana Path
Makana Path is a comprehensive detox and residential program treating addiction and co-occurring disorders. They take a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to treatment, incorporating holistic and evidence-based therapies to provide clients with opportunities to heal. They make use of medication-assisted treatment, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), life skills training, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing (MI), and family counseling. To benefit client’s physical health, Makana offers personal training 5 days a week, nutrition counseling, cooking classes, and yoga.
Makana Path is set on 70 acres of land near Austin, Texas, providing clients with a spacious and relaxing treatment environment. The facility features shared bedrooms, a full kitchen, modern fixtures, spacious shared living areas, and plenty of outdoor lounge spaces with comfortable furniture. Clients also have access to an onsite fitness center.
