About LA Teen Outpatient Center
LA Teen Outpatient Center (LATOC) serves adolescents ages 12-17 with mental health conditions and eating disorders. They view each teenager as an individual with unique talents and skills. Their goal is to find and use each patients’ strengths to create a healthy, productive lifestyle. LATOC provides partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and other outpatient services.
The female-led, highly-trained staff provides both evidence-based and holistic therapies in individual and group counseling sessions. LATOC works with clients with anxiety, depression, bipolar, personality disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and more. Their therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), anger management, exposure and response prevention (ERP), psychoeducation, and trauma-informed therapy. Clients can expect daily support through therapy, guidance, healthy nutrition options, recreational activities and educational counseling.
LATOC provides thorough, holistic treatment for eating disorders of all kinds, using nutritional counseling, body image therapy, life skills training, mindfulness, yoga, fitness, art therapy, music therapy and more. The staff at LATOC tailors treatment to the needs and interests of each client to help them develop personal responsibility for change and healing. LATOC will work with most insurance companies and also offers financing options.
