Located in the beautiful San Joaquin Valley, Jackson House Tulare offers short-term residential treatment for individuals with acute mental health concerns, seeking to bridge the gap between inpatient hospital facilities and facilities with less capacity for supervision and monitoring. Jackson House Santa Clara boasts comfortable open group spaces, artwork, and outdoor meeting and dining areas. The T4 bus line stops about a 5 minute walk away for convenient travel to other parts of Tulare. Clients usually stay at Jackson House for about two weeks, but treatment can vary based on need. Jackson House is in-network with most major private insurance companies.
Jackson House Tulare offers a variety of evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI) group therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) provided by master’s level clinicians and other mental health professionals. Psychiatrists work with clients to form medication plans at the beginning of their stay and manage medication throughout. Jackson House integrates family involvement and support, especially when treating genetically-linked conditions like bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Clients participate in life skills training as well as light chores and cooking alongside talented culinary staff. Jackson House offers 12-Step programs and SMART recovery for individuals with substance use concerns.

Jackson House offers care specific to the needs of veterans and is in-network with TriWest. Clients receive 60 days of outpatient follow-up with Jackson House staff in order to help ease their transition back to everyday life.
