About Catalyst Clinic Boston Medical Center
Located just off Interstate 93 near Boston Medical Center, this nonprofit outpatient clinic supports teens and young adults facing substance use disorders (SUD). The team treats alcohol, opioids, marijuana, and prescription drug use, along with co-occurring mental health concerns. Services include assessment, therapy, medical support, and recovery coaching for clients ages 12 to 25.
Combine Therapy and Medication Support
Clinicians use therapy, medications, and harm reduction to help youth understand and manage their substance use. The team combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention strategies to meet each client’s needs. Clients also receive screening for mental health and physical conditions, including HIV, hepatitis, and STIs.
Navigate Services with Care Coordinators
The clinic includes licensed clinicians, recovery coaches, and medical providers trained in addiction care. Staff guide families with education and support, and help clients navigate services like housing and primary care. Telehealth, peer mentoring, and parent guidance expand access for those seeking care in a hospital-based outpatient setting
