About Hader Clinic Queensland
Hader Clinic Queensland (HCQ) is a private residential and hospital addiction programme on 10 acres in the Gympie Region, 2 hours north of Brisbane, that has been treating people since 2016. HCQ addresses alcohol and other substance dependence, alongside co-occurring mental health concerns.
HCQ is family-focused and accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards. Their team includes qualified specialist medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and staff with lived experience in addiction and mental health recovery.
Build A Lasting Recovery Plan
HCQ provides medically supervised detox, residential or hospital-style care with substance use education, outpatient aftercare, and fast admissions. Their treatment method uses a holistic approach to addiction treatment for the mind, body and spirit. Their treatment includes psychological care, physical therapy, art therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation, social therapy, and meditation. They aim to assist psychological and behavioural change, minimising the risks of relapse.
Their private hospital focuses on 28-night medical detox and introduction to substance use education. Their residential centre offers a 4, 8, or 12-week residential rehabilitation programme that incorporates intensive psychoeducation for addiction and mental health. After the residential programme, clients can access aftercare like transitional housing, outpatient programmes, or HQC’s aftercare app.
Rest In Private, Healing Spaces
Clients stay in private rooms, and men and women stay in separate areas, with meals provided during their stay. They have 25 beds in their inpatient hospital facility and 40 beds in their residential facility. The site offers outdoor spaces for group activities, exercise, and reflection. HCQ works to protect the confidentiality of their clients to ensure a private stay.
