About Enlightened Solutions
Enlightened Solutions offers a full continuum of care, specializing in a holistic approach to addiction treatment while still including 12-Step modalities. They provide medically supported detox, outpatient care, residential care, and sober living homes for a diverse range of clients. The recovery process begins at Enlighten’s state-of-the-art medical detox facility, situated on New Jersey's beautiful Atlantic coast and just 15 minutes away from their residential center. Enlightened Solutions focuses on treating the mind, body, and spirit. Their treatment approach has strong medical and holistic components, effectively combining to create comprehensive treatment.
Inpatient stays at Enlightened Solutions are comfortable and luxurious, with up-scale, homey accommodations. The care they put into each room makes Enlightened Solutions a perfectly peaceful environment to start recovery. Enlightened Cafe is their on-site eatery, where clients can enjoy nutritious meals and juices all throughout their stay. The Enlightened Cafe also hosts 12-Step meetings, yoga, meditation, music therapy, and empowerment groups, as it’s one of the coziest and most inviting rooms at Enlightened Solutions.
Enlightened Solutions begins a treatment process that’s tailored to each client from the moment they arrive to their treatment graduation. Their 30-day residential program addresses the eight aspects of wellness: emotional, environmental, financial, occupational, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual. During residential stays, clients will participate in talk therapy, group therapy, brainspotting, equine therapy, and other forms of holistic and 12-Step therapies. To address the nuanced needs of men and women, Enlightened Solutions also offers gender-specific group therapy, providing a safe and understanding space to open up. Co-ed groups bring men and women together and show the many ways in which their struggles are the same, especially during treatment and throughout recovery. Enlightened’s horticulture program provides clients with additional opportunities for growth in an emotional, spiritual, and physical capacity.
Enlightened Solutions has a stunning 460-acre farm, complete with horses, a basketball court, a ropes course, a music center, and on-site music and art therapy yurts. Each day is filled with nature and outdoor activities, whether clients are learning how to farm or spending time with gentle horses. Importantly, farming and gardening teach sustainability and self-sufficiency, which can be used later in finding work. Inside Enlightened Solutions’ home, clients can relax in air-conditioned rooms, work out in their fitness room, or just spend time reflecting in a quiet environment. Outside, a pool and outdoor lounge await, along with a gorgeous garden and various low-key walking trails.

Provider's Policy:We work with most insurance providers in the U.S. to provide the best possible coverage and minimize your out-of-pocket expenses.
Enlightened Solutions understands that the cultural expectations and challenges men and women face don’t often overlap, which is why they offer gender-specific group therapy. Specified groups help encourage more honesty and create an environment of total understanding and safety. Co-ed groups help connect men and women over shared problems, especially ones experienced in treatment and recovery.
Enlightened Solutions teaches many sustainable living practices, like gardening, composting, and recycling. They use their gardens to create nutritious food, teaching clients about nutrition, living sustainably, and cooking. Wellness practices are also important, and learning about them in a group setting fosters a greater sense of community–and makes it more fun.
Incorporating spirituality is one of their pinnacle treatment modalities at Enlightened Solutions. Looking to a higher power doesn’t have to mean clients become religious or change religions, but rather that they find something that can drive them through the often tumultuous process of recovery. Enlightened Solutions mentors this process and teaches clients about the many benefits of spiritual practices.
Enlightened Solutions provides individual therapy at least once a week, using that time to engage in solution-focused techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, and addiction education. Family therapy educates loved ones on the disease of addiction and gives them the support they need to be effective recovery allies, and to help them heal as a family unit.
