About Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program Milwaukee
For 25 years, the Discovery Mood and Anxiety Program has treated thousands of individuals struggling with mental illnesses. Discovery’s new downtown Milwaukee facility treats adults of all genders. They use the Discovery ESTEEM System, which is a tailored approach. This method assists clients in gaining the skills and self-assurance they need to live the life they want. Anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, and eating disorders are all addressed in the program. Discovery uses a combination of evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and experiential therapies like music and art therapy.
Patients receive aftercare help to facilitate transitions and challenges post-discharge, such as the Discovery app and Discovery alumni online support groups.
Discovery is a world-class program and has numerous locations around the United States. This 24-bed facility is located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. Discovery is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
