About Serenus Outpatient Detox
Located in Jacksonville, Florida, Serenus Outpatient Detox provides medically supervised detox for adults experiencing withdrawal from alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, stimulants, prescription medications, sleep aids, and other dependency-forming drugs. The program begins with medical and psychiatric evaluations to develop individualized detox and medication plans.
Medical Care and Recovery Support
Clients attend weekday outpatient detox with medical monitoring and withdrawal management. The center provides individualized medication management with FDA-approved medications, including vivitrol. Clients also receive daily peer support, weekly individual substance use counseling, and group recovery programming.
Planning for Continued Recovery
Serenus’ aftercare planning includes referrals for outpatient therapy, higher levels of care, community support, or ongoing MAT. The center also accommodates existing Suboxone prescriptions from outside providers. If clients need long-term MAT, the center connects them with community providers.

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
