About The Center for Prevention and Counseling
The Center for Prevention and Counseling in Sussex County helps adults and adolescents with substance use, mental health, anger, and tobacco-related issues. Services are available in person or through Telehealth, with both outpatient (OP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) care.
They use evidence-based therapies such as motivational interviewing, 12-step programs, individual and group counseling, psychoeducation, and family support. Each approach is tailored to the individual to build life skills and strengthen long-term recovery.
Recovery Coaches, for people in long-term recovery, are offering guidance, hope, and real-world support. The Center also connects individuals to treatment providers, including medication assistance, and hosts peer recovery groups to keep people engaged in their treatment journey.
