His House and New Creation Treatment Centers
His House and New Creation Treatment Centers has treated men and women in separate, gender-specific programs for drug and alcohol addiction since 1994, growing into 12 residential, detox, outpatient, and sober living locations across San Bernardino County. Every client gets a treatment plan that fits their needs, whether they're facing early warning signs of addiction or a severe, longtime struggle. The goal is always the same: a strong recovery foundation and a life defined by freedom and joy.A Founder Who's Been ThereFounder Glenn Swanson built His House and New Creation on his own recovery from cocaine addiction, opening the first sober living home in Upland, California in 1994. He grounded that house in five principles: commitment, honesty, integrity, respect, and service, standards the network still holds today. Recognizing that men and women often need different kinds of support, he later established New Creation to give women their own path to recovery.Find Emotional and Spiritual HealingHis House and New Creation offer medically supervised detox, residential, partial hospitalization program (PHP), outpatient, and sober living care. Clients receive support for both addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful thought patterns and 12-Step facilitation to build lasting accountability. An optional Christian track weaves faith into treatment and remains open to anyone exploring spirituality without committing to a specific religion.A Recovery Community that ContinuesRecovery continues well past discharge at His House and New Creation. Clients step down from residential care into outpatient treatment and sober living, building independence at their own pace with continued clinical and peer support. Alumni stay connected through ongoing events and gatherings, and many remain active in 12-Step meetings and family support groups long after their time in treatment ends.
