The Port St. Lucie location offers a wide array of treatments ranging from detox through outpatient care, including mental health treatment for those with co-occurring disorders. This facility is intended to be a place where patients can come for detox and work their way through the program towards a full recovery. As patients go through detox, some need medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help with their withdrawal symptoms, while others may need medication for mental health conditions. Port St. Lucie provides the necessary medical care that patients might need along the way. Throughout the program, patients participate in individual and group therapy, benefit from peer support and learn new coping skills through relapse prevention counseling.

Family Programming

One of the unique features of this facility is their specialized program for families of patients with addiction. This program includes education for family members on how best to communicate, support and create boundaries and renewed trust within the family relationship. The program offers engaging speakers, group or private family therapy and visiting hours. Their family wellness team communicates with patients’ families weekly and updates them on their loved ones’ progress, if consent is given. Once a month, the facility holds Family Weekend, which allows time in the patients’ schedules to relax and interact with family.
